//Project Title

Eric Johnsen

Thesis Advisor, Associated Professor, University of Michigan

Research Interests include multiphase flows (cavitation, bubble and droplet dynamics), unsteady flows, high-speed flows and shock waves, turbulence and mixing, interfacial instabilities, non-newtonian flows, plasmas, and high-performance computing.

Kevin J. Maki

Associate Professor, University of Michigan

Research interests include investigating free-surface hydrodynamics for analysis and design of high-performance naval craft and renewable-energy devices.

Siddhesh Shinde

Data Scientist Engineer, Aptiv

Research work based on flow physics analysis of spatially evolving turbulent boundary profile. Special interest in application of machine learning algorithms for flow problems, such as synthetic inflow generation for turbulent boundary layer flow problems.

Marc T. Henry de Frahan

Postdoctoral Researcher, National Renewable Energy Lab

Research interests include high-performance computing with multi-GPU implementations, development of high-order methods for numerical modeling of flow prblems and general high-speed flows with shocks and plasmas.

Mauro Rodriguez

Postdoctoral Researcher, Mechanical Engineering, University of Michigan

Applying high-fidelity computational fluid dynamic (CFD) numerical techniques to simulate shock-induced bubble collapse problems in viscoelatic and non-newtonian media.
